9 years ago... I first heard "i'll be there for you" on the radio at the hair dressers; shortly after I was in love with The Moffatts. That summer of 1998 I bought their CD when it was released and listened to "Chapter 1: A new Beginning" over and over for the next 3 years - sometimes it would be on repeat for days on end; I only stopped when Submodalities was released.

I went to my first Moffatt concert on March 25, 1999 - 8 years ago. I build my first Moffatt site at that same time.

It's 1999 and I am around 13 years old and building my first site in the geocities builder and microsoft word who would of thought that 8 years later I would be making another site designing it myself and coding it by hand? My love for web design actually started that day with that first Moffatts site and I now actually do web design/coding for a living. I spent the next 4-5 years working on that site almost daily it went under many names the most common being "Disillusion" and was hosted on shining-illusions.com I later released another site on lucky-stars (after they broke up) but never finished it.

As we all know in August of 2001 The Moffatts broke up. Within about two years my love for them simmered down - I can't say it ever went away but it just wasn't like it was before. I stopped making sites and I slowly stopped reading news on them and I even stopped collecting Moffatt cds. I started supporting their new bands: hidell, boston post, etc - saw them in concert, bought the cds and what have you; but they never replaced The Moffatts.

For the past year my love for the Moffatts has grown again. I started to realize how much I miss that part of my life and how much I missed my sites and their music. I haven't had a favourtie band - guess you can say that nothing replaces The Moffatts. I started buying their CDs again on ebay and my collection has now grown to over 70 different Moffatt cds and I am still adding to it. I have been listeing to their music again and watching videos on youtube.com.

So here I am - I am STILL a Moffatt fan. 8 years since I made that first Moffatt site and I am proud to say this is the first time I have owned my own Moffatt domain - and boy did I have a hard time picking a name!
